High-quality, Finnish paraffin oil Stelon is designed for impregnation of sauna beds and siding. Odourless, environmentally friendly, does not contain toxic substances, protects wood from the effects of moisture and facilitates care. Oil is absorbed into the wood, thereby preventing the effects of moisture and dirt. Colourless oil slightly darkens the colour of the wood and highlights the texture. Suitable for all types of wood – linden, black alder, aspen, African wood abachi, otie, Red Canadian cedar, heat-treated wood.
Use:
Apply oil to wood surfaces not covered with other means with a brush or a clean, lint-free cloth. Let it soak for about 1 hour and wipe off the oil residue that has not been absorbed. If necessary, apply repeatedly until the surface of the wood is saturated. Paraffin oil should be used in dry conditions: the relative humidity of the air is below 80%, and the temperature is not lower than +5oC. The best result is achieved if the sauna is heated to a temperature of about +50oC before processing.
If the sunbeds were used or dirty, then before covering with paraffin oil, it is recommended to cleanly wash them with a wood cleaner and dry them.
